About this speaker
Joan Kennedy Artist is an international multi-award winning artist, illustrator and published children's author. Her work has sold to various private collectors around the world from China, to Singapore, Europe and America.
She is a passionate animal lover and believes we should celebrate the beauty of our animal kingdom, which she tries to show through her watercolour paintings. She is originally from Ireland but lives in the Midlands U.K. with her husband, daughter and her two dogs.
Joan has won various awards throughout her art career. She was selected 4 times as one of ten businesses to go on trade missions to China, where she won best exhibit award, and sold many of her art works into a high prestige gallery. She was also selected to exhibit at the British Embassy in Prague. She won Fine Artist of the year last year and celebrating again this year winning another award through Central Prestige Awards.
